Mission Statement

Quality Holistic Christian Education accessible for every Indonesian.

Purpose

To establish and operate quality Christian schools throughout Indonesia, expanding access for underprivileged Indonesian children to a learning environment that will develop the whole student, assisting them to identify, and be fully equipped for, their God given potential to benefit their families, communities, Nation and the world.

God Centered Education

Education is delivered through a biblical worldview, by teachers and leaders who are committed to living godly lives, focusing students on God’s purpose for their lives. The SLH philosophy of education is based on biblical values because we believe that True Knowledge must lead all people closer to God.

Holistic Learning

SLH aspires to educate students as whole persons through the reintegration of spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical and aesthetic aspects to produce competent future leaders who fear God and are committed to living godly lives.

Integrity

SLH believes that integrity is one of the most important characteristics embraced by and manifested in the graduates, teachers and staff within the Lentera Harapan Schools.  Transparency, trustworthiness, and unwavering commitment are characteristics that are valued.

Servant Leadership

SLH aims to serve God by serving communities with compassion, in underprivileged areas of Indonesia, through the offering of quality education.  We believe every child should have an opportunity to access quality, holistic education.

Stewardship

SLH believes all resources come from God and should be cared for with accountability and transparency. We aim to be good stewards of what has been entrusted to us, including our students.
